This Hawaiian coleslaw is a crowd pleaser. It’s a light, healthy side dish that can accompany many game day foods. Like hamburgers, chili, cheese fries, potato skins. Whatever else the gang wants for the big game!
Spend less time on the food, and more time on the couch watching the big game with your family. whether is super bowl Sunday, baseball season or even basketball.
It takes no time at all to prepare and enjoy. And enjoy you will, especially since you only need one bowl and a pair of tongs. This mean easy clean up!
Hawaiian coleslaw also pairs well with the Sweet & Spicy Shrimp recipe found here.
It’s a meal for those busy weeknights where there is hardly no time for a real meal.
You will feel great preparing this Hawaiian coleslaw and sweet & spicy shrimp after a busy day of running around.

This recipe for Hawaiian coleslaw is actually one of my allergy friendly recipes. This is a also a great item to prepare for a BBQ.
Knowing those with food allergies have options at these types of events, is something that is very important to me. As a mom of a child with food allergies (dairy, eggs, soy, corn, tree nuts, shellfish, sesame and sunflower seeds). I’m that mom who makes the dish to bring to the party, and everything on the menu. So that my son has the same food as everyone else, but making sure it’s safe for him.
I have been creative with recipes through the years to minimize the amount of cooking that needs to be done. This Hawaiian coleslaw is a great recipe for that. Freeing you up to enjoy more of the party and less time worrying.
